Coach Josh

Assistant Head Coach

Josh – or Coach Ten as many of his clients know him – grew up in Central LA with his parents, three brothers and three sisters.

His passion for sport began at a young age – playing for a youth basketball team when he was 12-years-old and going on to become a keen athlete during his early years at Pacific Hills School.

In 2013, Josh began volunteering at AAU – coaching youth basketball for the NGA Stars for three years.

He then went on to coach junior varsity basketball and volleyball for girls and boys a local Los Angeles high school before joining the YMCA as a play instructor in 2018.

Josh is also a qualified small group fitness trainer and is currently working towards gaining his certified personal training certificate.

When he’s not working, you can find him at the gym or walking his beloved pup, Jewlz and shooting hoop!
