With a star-studded clientele including an array of A-listers, Bounce has managed to set itself apart from its counterparts as the most in-demand kids experience in the city thanks to what many describe as its “X factor.”
After pivoting the business and going mobile amid the pandemic in 2020, Bounce has secured contracts as the exclusive kids gym and sports provider with The City of Beverly Hills, The City of Santa Monica and The City of West Hollywood – and is rapidly expanding to widen its reach across the city thanks to overwhelming demand.
With classes for 6-month-olds to 10-year-olds, birthday parties, school movement programs, sports training, one-on-one coaching, private at-home services, play-dates, events and more, Bounce has become the go-to for parents- and Mini Bouncers – across LA.
Our Story
Bounce is a family-run business owned by husband-and-wife team, Louisa and Asa or ‘Coach Ace’ as his Mini Bouncers and clients know him.
They are parents to two beautiful little girls, Marni and Ayla, as well as their eldest daughter, the Bounce mascot, aka Chewy the Toy Poodle.
As a former college athlete and behavioral specialist working with children with special needs, Coach Ace always dreamt of combining his passion for sport with working with kids.
His goal was to develop programs which not only sparked children’s passion for exercise and sport, but to boost their physical and emotional development at every stage while helping them to thrive in all aspects of their daily lives.
Coach Ace initially began his coaching career working in schools across LA where he created an award-winning program for toddlers and beyond.
In 2017, Louisa and Asa’s dream of opening up their own kids gym finally came to fruition when they found a physical location in Beverly Hills, and in that, Bounce was born.
Thanks to Asa’s incredible programs and what many customers describe as the Bounce ‘magic’, it fast became the city’s most popular kids play space – with clients – including a host of A-listers – traveling from far and wide to experience the magic for themselves.
When the pandemic hit, they were inundated with clients desperate to keep their kids active, so they quickly pivoted into a mobile business – offering safe, outdoor private at-home classes to ensure Mini Bouncers were able to continue their physical development in the safety of their own homes.
A year later, a growing team of top coaches and a host of new equipment (including four spanking-new vans!), Bounce has become LA’s no.1 mobile kids gym – providing a premium service with their range of private at-home classes, sports coaching, school movement programs, sports camps and birthday parties.
In August 2021, Bounce proudly became the official kids gym and sports provider for The City of Beverly Hills – hosting classes at Coldwater Canyon Park which expanded to Roxbury Park in January 2022 due the overwhelming demand.
That same year, Bounce secured its second partnership with The City of Santa Monica – expanding its award-winning programs to the Westside community at Annenberg Community Beach House in Spring 2022.
Since then, Bounce has expanded to parks across the city including LA High Memorial Park (Hancock Park), Woodbridge Park (Studio City), Cheviot Hills Rec Center and De Neve Square (Holmby Hills).
In January 2024, Bounce will be moving deeper into the valley after securing its third contract with The City of Calabasas.
Bounce has won numerous awards for its service to the community as well as proudly serving as a black and female-owned small business and Bounce is excited to continue expanding – taking the Bounce movement across California, into other states and all over the world!
