The Bounce Story

How founders Lou & Ace turned their vision into not just a business, but a movement.

Since 2017

Since 2017, Bounce LA has been the go-to kids’ movement program in Los Angeles — thanks to its superstar coaches, obstacle courses so good bedtime becomes negotiable (in parents’ favor), and a concierge team that treats families like VIPs.

Serving children from six months to 12 years old, Bounce keeps Mini Bouncers moving with everything from park programs and private at-home sessions to birthday parties, after-school enrichments, camps, and school events. Basically, if it involves kids, movement, and smiles — Bounce is in.

Bounce is led by husband-and-wife duo Louisa and Asa — better known to Mini Bouncers as Coach Ace. Together they are proud parents to Marni, Ayla, and their beloved dog Chewy, who passed away in January 2025 and remains the heart of the brand. Chewy’s face still rides along on every Bounce van, and her legacy continues to inspire the joyful spirit of every class. Pickles, their new pup, has now taken on the role of honorary mascot — keeping the tradition of wagging tails and Bounce energy alive.

A former college athlete, sports coach, and behavioral specialist for children on the spectrum, Asa always dreamed of combining his passion for sport with his love of working with kids. His mission was to create programs that spark a lifelong love of movement, build physical and emotional confidence, and help kids thrive in every area of life.

“Confidence through competence.”

— Coach Ace

His guiding principle is simple: confidence through competence — giving children the tools to trust their abilities, push past their comfort zones, and surprise themselves with what they can do.
