Coach Ace

LA born and bred, Coach Ace calls himself one of the seven LA natives and has three brothers including a twin!

He attended Dorsey High School before going on to study a BA in Child Development and Kinesiology at Cal State University of Fresno, where he earned a scholarship for their Division 1 football team – playing across the country from 2000 to 2003.

After finishing college, he began volunteering with disadvantaged kids before moving back to Los Angeles where he qualified as a Behavioral Interventionist – working with children with special needs for LAUSD.

In 2011, Asa met his wife and Bounce co-founder, Louisa, who encouraged him to set-up on his own. He started running a small private coaching business called LA Kids Coach and developed a program which he taught in pre-schools and parks across the city.

It was during his time coaching kids, that his dream of owning his own kids gym came to fruition and in 2017, his dream came true and Bounce was born.

Coach Ace’s award-winning curriculum has become the ‘go-to’ kids class in LA thanks to what clients call the ‘Bounce magic’ and the incredible passion, devotion and energy Coach Ace and his team of coaches bring to their classes and parties.

He is a proud dad to Marni, six and Ayla, three and when he’s not with his Mini Bouncers (which is rare!) he loves watching sci-fi movies, reading fantasy fiction novels and getting thrashed by Louisa at table tennis!
