Before joining Bounce, Jessie coached basketball in non-profit organizations for kids aged five to 18 years old and served as a volunteer basketball coach for the Special Olympics in 2020.
As well as coaching basketball, Jessie led the youth development sports program – heading up a range of activities including football, dodgeball and field hockey.
Jessie graduated from Concordia University with Honors and was chosen to join the California Girls’ State Delegate in 2015.
In her spare time, Jessie loves to hike, play basketball and badminton, go to the beach, cruise with her longboard, play with her puppy!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Definitely be able to teleport, LA traffic is the worst!
What’s the best advice you’ve ever been given? “My alone feels so good, I’ll only have you if you’re sweeter than my solitude.”
Which 3 items would you bring to a desert island? -water filter, knife, hammock
What’s your best place you’ve ever visited and why? Japan! Amazing food, beautiful landscape and architecture, public transportation is great, people are polite and friendly.
What would you do if you won a million dollars? Buy a house, pay off me and my siblings’ debts, and invest.
Who’s your idol/biggest inspiration? My biggest inspiration is my oldest sister (aka parent aka best friend). Growing up away from our parents, she has continuously provided strong guidance and loving support for me and our younger siblings while trying to figure out life for herself too.
What are your favorite pizza toppings? Bacon, Spinach, Jalapeños, Banana Peppers, Sausage, Pepperoni, Cheese
What was your favorite book/tv show/movie as a kid? The Giver!
